Bilstein 5100 Ride Height Adjustable Front Shock Set for 99-06 Tundra (Also Firmer Valved Alternative for 96-02 4Runner) [24-261425-X2]

BILSTEIN B8 5100 (Ride Height Adjustable) shock absorbers use multiple snap ring grooves to position the spring seat at different heights to change your Tundra's ride height anywhere between 0-2.5" to tune your front suspension to your specific requirements. These shocks feature Bilstein's superior single tube high gas pressure design for the utmost in consistent fade-free performance and long life. The monotube shocks feature a 46mm digressive piston with self-adjusting deflective disc valving.

These shocks work with your factory coils. Bilstein's patented Digressive Self-Adjusting Valving delivers improved damping control and a smooth ride on all road surfaces at any speed. This superb damping ability makes them ideal for heavy hauling and occasional off-road use while maintaining an exceptional street ride. The shocks have a zinc-plated steel body with Triple-C-Technology coating for corrosion resistance.

Note: Some customers use these on 96-02 4Runners because of the firmer valving.

These shocks are good for lifting, leveling or compensating for winches, snowplows, etc. If you would rather pair these with new coils and have us assemble them for you, please call us to discuss your requirements.

Please note: This Bilstein model 24-261425 replaces the older Bilstein model 24-188265. The only visible difference we've seen is that the new shocks' top clip groove is slightly lower than the older model, yielding a little less lift on the top groove. Also, the new shocks ship with large flat washers for bump stop spacing.
