Designed to handle the rigors of off road use, these springs will give approx 1.75"-2" of lift over stock springs on the average unloaded 95-97 V6 Xtra Cab 4×4 Pickup. They fit Standard and Xtra Cab chassis, 4cyl and V6.
These springs have another feature that increases their versatility; we design these springs so that they can accept extra leafs for increased load stability or increased ride height. We have custom fit add a leafs for these springs (available separately).
These springs are made out of 60mm width material (like the Toyota factory uses) and are left and right specific. Our kit also comes with a complete graphite impregnated (self lubricating) polyurethane bushing set, a seamless sleeve set and our zinc coated heavy duty u-bolt set with high nuts and washers. These leaf packs work with a performance gas charged shock such as Bilstein 5100's, OME NitroCharger Sports or Rough Country N2.0's.
You will notice a huge improvement in the stability of your Tacoma, enhanced control of axle wrap as well as the rear suspension's ability to soak up bumps and washboard at low and high speed. Due to removal of the factory overload spring there may be a slight decrease in gross max weight handling capability over the stock leaf packs, we find they handle weight well. Consider a Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement Kit with these springs if you wish to carry gross capacity loads regularly.
We recommend using one of our longer rear brake lines listed separately when using longer travel shocks to allow for extra travel. We recommend the OME FK21 tailpipe hanger extension for customers running stock tailpipes. We have shocks, brake lines, greasable shackles and bushing kits available separately.
