5100 Ride Height Adjustable Front Shock Set for 1996-2002 4Runner, 1999-2006 Tundra (24-261425 X2)

BIL 24-261425 X2

BILSTEIN B8 5100 (Ride Height Adjustable) shock absorbers are designed for front coilover style pickup and SUV suspensions. With the use of multiple snap ring grooves to position the spring seat at different heights, the vehicle's ride height can be changed anywhere between 0-2.5” depending on application. 5100 Series shocks feature Bilstein's superior single tube high gas pressure design for the upmost in consistent fade-free performance and long life. The monotube shocks feature a 46mm digressive piston with self-adjusting deflective disc valving.

These work with your factory coils. Bilstein's patented Digressive self-adjusting valving delivers improved damping control and a smooth ride on all road surfaces at any speed. Offering super damping ability that makes them ideal for heavy hauling or occasional off-road use, while maintaining an exceptional street ride. Zinc-plated steel body with Triple-C-Technology coating.

Good for lifting, leveling or compensating for winches, snowplows, etc. Performance valved to provide better handling. We can assemble coils on these for you, inquire if you need a cost on that.

6/2/17 NOTE: 24-188265 has been superseded by 24-261425. The only difference we see is that the 261425's top clip groove is slightly lower than the -188265 (which will yield a little less lift on the top groove) and the -261425 comes with some bump stop spacers (big flat washers).

Due to the variations in lift kit manufacturers’ systems, it is the responsibility of the installer/end user to confirm that the shocks are dimensionally correct. Most lift kits require lowered bump stops to compensate for longer shocks mounted into the OEM location. BILSTEIN will not be liable for damage caused by a full compression impact of the shock absorber.
